While Jaylen Warren has cut into Harris’ volume, Harris is not losing goal line touches to Warren. Surprisingly, his performance has been the best of his career — arguably better than Warren’s. Despite seeing more average defenders in the box (65th percentile for Harris vs. 18th percentile for Warren), Harris (4.29 YPC) is out-gaining Warren (3.38) on the ground.

While he’s still behind PFF’s 27th-ranked run-blocking offensive line, Harris is averaging the highest YPC of his career. Is that a trend, or is regression coming?

Since it’s combined with career highs in yards after contact per carry (3.5, fourth among RBs), missed tackles forced per carry (0.27, 14th among RBs) and explosive runs per carry (12.2%), we should be confident it’s here to stay. Plus, he’s bound to start scoring more TDs, right? Sign us up.
