It looks like there’s more trouble in the household Giudice. While it seems that the Real Housewife of New Jersey and her longtime husband couldn’t possibly have a more difficult year to face, things keep getting worse for the star and her husband. After being indicted on multiple charges of fraud during the summer of 2013, Teresa and Joe Giudice have spent a great deal of time this year in the courtroom defending their position and working with their attorney and the State of New Jersey as their trial was ongoing. Their sentencing was postponed after Joe Giudice’s father unexpectedly died while doing yard work over the summer, and the couple was just sentenced earlier this month. Teresa is spending 15 months in jail and Joe 41 months following his wife’s release. The purpose of their staggered sentence is to ensure that their four daughters always have a parent present.
Unfortunately, things are getting worse for the reality star and her husband. After being sentenced to prison and having a death in the family, it is possible for life to get worse. According to a close friend of the couple, the Giudice’s marriage is falling apart. “Teresa and Joe’s emotional connection is fading. Resentment is creeping in. There is an icy distance,” says the friend. Of course there is. Joe Giudice told his wife he would accept all the blame so that she didn’t get in trouble, but he didn’t. Teresa Giudice is more concerned for the well-being of her daughters than her marriage or her husband.
According to the couple’s friend, Joe is not making the situation any easier on his wife, and she’s becoming angry about it. “Teresa expects him to step up and learn the girls’ schedules, but he hasn’t show interest. Joe says Teresa is nagging.” However, the couple’s friend does not believe the reality stars will divorce because Teresa isn’t interested in upsetting her kids’ and their lives – anymore than her actions have already done.
