Atlanta-based rapper, Young Jeezy, has been rocking crowds since the release of his debut album, Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101.  Throughout his career, Young Jeezy has gone on to release seven studio albums, four of which have at least been certified gold. Best known for his trap infused lyrics, Jeezy has gained a reputation as hiphop’s most well-known dope boy. Although there is a reoccurring theme in his music, the Grammy Award winning artist has often found new and creative ways to deliver his content.  While most fans are used to hearing Jeezy brag about the good life, he has also taken time to acknowledge that sometimes, life can drive everyone a little crazy.  Here are the three most insane Young Jeezy songs.

3. “Crazy World”

The world can be a crazy place, and Young Jeezy recognizes that with his 2009 single, “Crazy World.”  As Jeezy raps, “This world keep spinnin’, yeah my rims still spinning’/Even though the money slow we still spinnin’ in this crazy world,” he makes it clear to listeners that even the craziness of the world can’t stop him from doing what he has to do.

2. “Lose My Mind”

“Lost My Mind” was the first single released off Young Jeezy’s sixth album, Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition, and was also released on his mixtape, Trap or Die II.  The song features fellow southern rapper, Plies, and was nominated for a Grammy for Best Rap Performance By Duo or Group. According to sources, Jeezy’s therapist believed that writing a song about losing his mind would help him stay calm. However, with lines like, “I’m hearin’ voices in my head, think I’m schizo-frantic,” it’s hard to imagine Jeezy ever being able to remain calm.

1. “Go Crazy”

Released as a single from his debut album, Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101, “Go Crazy” was one of Young Jeezy’s most popular songs.  The song’s chorus: “When they play that new Jeezy all the dope boys go crazy…I pop my collar then I swing my chain/
You can catch me in the club, pimping, doing my thang,” is an ode to Jeezy’s style and ability to excite the crowd. Borrowing hiphop’s biggest name, Jay-Z for a feature, the song is also one of Jeezy’s craziest (in a good way.)
